Lab Testing Days
If you're due to send samples soon, please plan ahead to take into account potential post disruption due to the long weekend at the end of this month. We've listed our lab opening times below with advice when to post samples to help prevent loss or delay in the postal system.
You can help to maintain the freshness of the sample by filling the pot full to exclude any air and please make sure to write the date sample was taken on the back of the return envelope. This helps us prioritise samples and take anything out of the test runs that’s too old to test. If we know a worm egg count is over six days old, we’ll send a new pack to you, at no extra cost and ask you to take the sample again which helps you to get an accurate result
EquiSal tapeworm samples can be sent as usual as they are safe for up to 3 weeks in their preservative solution.
August Bank Holiday
Please post worm egg counts before Tuesday 19th August
- Mon 25th August: Lab & Office closed
- Orders placed between these dates will be posted on Tues 26th August, when our normal service resumes.
We hope you get to enjoy the extra time to be with your horses, friends and family!
