Reduction worm egg count after worming

£9.00

Worm egg count kit to test to do after worming for resistance to redworm and roundworm in equines, including horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

Does your horse have resistant worms? Following a positive redworm or roundworm count that has required worming treatment or a winter worming dose for the possibility of encysted redworm, a second worm egg count can be conducted, ideally 10-14 days after treatment to test for drug efficacy.

To take advantage of this special offer customers must include the box end of the wormer with the batch code with the faecal sample.

Test kit includes everything you need to take and send a sample including pre-paid voucher(s) for laboratory testing.

Kit price includes:

  • a pot to collect a faecal sample for each horse
  • a voucher for the laboratory processing of the tests
  • a compostable glove (if we have supply)
  • a single pre-paid envelope to send the sample(s) to the lab in one go. If you need additional envelopes to return samples on seperate occassions please order them here.

If this test is used in any other way than after a worming treatment to check efficacy, then an additional fee will occur.

Test kit price also includes our veterinary approved worming advice from our friendly team of qualified, expert SQP's as required.

Postage will be added at checkout for the corresponding weight of the items purchased and covers the postage out for the order and the return postage via a pre-paid address label.
