New sample containers.

Unfortunately we have had to discontinue our charity pot recycling scheme. Since the changes in the way postal charges are calculated (August 2006) we have had to find a flatter container for the samples in order to save our customers postal costs.

I am pleased to say that the new pots can be posted at the ‘Large Letter’ rate as long as they are kept flat and pass through the Royal Mail’s magic testing slot. The cost for posting a First Class Large Letter is currently 48p. Over 100 g the cost is 70p Larger packets should be weighed and stamped accordingly. Flat pots are sent in all new kits and return packs. They are also in all new stock of boxed kits and 4count packs.

2 Free Parasite Checks with Verm-X for 6 Horses

To celebrate their progress in natural parasite control we have formed an offer-partnership with Verm-X who have launched a new packaging and pack size of Verm-X Powder for Horses.

The state of the art re-usable Keep Fresh pots, with hinged and sealed lid, contain 480grams of powder enough for 6 five day courses (each course used every 10/12 weeks).

Inside a limited number of the new packs is a voucher with which to claim two free worm counts directly from Westgate Labs. The voucher has a value of £19.00 - the current retail price of two worm counts. Once filled in correctly the voucher can be sent by FREEPOST to us and we will mail you your free worm count packs. Visit the Verm-x website for more details.

The Yorkshire Exmoor Pony Trust

Westgate Labs are actively supporting the very worthwhile work of the YEPT by providing much needed worm counts for the ponies in their care, taking the guess work out of worming.

The trust was founded in 2002. It is a charitable organisation run by keen volunteers who have a particular interest not only in protecting the Exmoor pony, but also ensuring the sound management of important wildlife and landscape sites.

To date seven sites have become part of this grazing project and the summer of 2003 saw the first major programme of grazing being undertaken. The ponies performed much better than expected and have made a huge difference to many of the sites.

If you would like to find out more about the YEPT please contact: Vickihall2002@yahoo.com
