I’m very impressed with the rapid results service and the fact that they can be e-mailed. I also think it could prove cost effective; the longer I’ve owned horses, the more clear it has become that chemical administration every 6 weeks (or perhaps every 13 for Equest) is not sufficient to properly control internal parasites in horses. The only way to avoid the ‘worm time bomb’ especially for these susceptible horses is by correct pasture management and an effective worming program. By monitoring my ‘control’ horse, through regular worm counts, I can build up a realistic picture of how effective my efforts are and can therefore adapt the worming frequency to the results of the tests.

I have found your service very professional and reliable and so has everyone I have recommended it to. It has in particular taught me a lot about how the worm burden of different horses coming into my yard behaves and changes, not always in the way the drug companies would lead you to believe.
Horses arriving with a considerable worm burden, having been tested, wormed and not subject to further contamination were found to regain high levels of infestation after several doses of appropriate wormers. Using your service has allowed me to worm more appropriately with the right drug, avoiding unnecessary use of inappropriate treatment, which is normally recommended.
